At Home in the Creek

After our two froglets died, Will felt awful and believed he was solely responsible for their deaths ("It is all my fault. I am the one who wanted to take them home."), so he decided that it was time to return the remaining tadpoles to the creek.

As a result of all of our recent rain, the creek is really high. It took a little time, but the boys found a nice quiet shallow spot along the edge of the stream.

Will and Quinn thanked the tadpoles for living at our house and wished them good luck on becoming frogs, and then the boys took turns releasing the tadpoles.
