New Ears

Three weeks ago Quinn had tubes put in his ears. Although he has only had two ear infections in his short 3 1/2 years, he had persistent fluid. This fluid greatly impacted his hearing and speech. Before having tubes placed, Quinn could not hear anything below 50 dB. He was often saying, "What? Say it louder!" Once the tubes were in, the results were immediate. We returned to the ENT today, and all is well. The audiologists report that Quinn's hearing is now within the normal limits! Quinn got a new t-shirt that says it all. His ears have been "fixed."
