Fish = Mouse?

Never tell your children they can get another beta fish unless you know for sure the sex of your current beta fish, or you may end up with another mouse instead. The boys had been asking for another fish because they believed that Papa Fish was "lonely" and "sad" and needed "a brother to snuggle." I believed that despite his name, Papa Fish was a female and could live harmoniously with another female beta. Upon looking at betas at the pet shop I realized that Papa Fish really was a male, and he needed to live alone. The boys were devastated by this realization. They suggested buying another $15 tank for the new fish. Being the frugal person I am, I suggested buying another mouse. The boys were immediately sold, and quickly picked out a tan female mouse. After quite a bit of squeaking, Ralph and Mortimer have welcomed their new roommate, Wemberley.
