A Goldilocks Birthday Party

Shortly after Will's birthday party in March, Quinn declared that he wanted a Goldilocks & The Three Bears themed birthday party. While I thought he would surely change his mind by the time his birthday rolled around in July, I also began brainstorming ideas for a 3 Bears party. Afterall, Goldilocks themed party goods are not easily found. The employee at our local party store said, "Wow! You got your work cut out for you. Good Luck!" And so my work began. I walked the aisles of the local party and craft stores, searched the internet for ideas, and paged through my "Bears" and "Fairy Tale" thematic units leftover from my teaching days. Here is the end result:

PB & J Bearwiches served with Goldilocks & Cheese, Blueberry & Honey Cornbread Mini Muffins, Very Beary Fruit Salad, Teddy Bear Snack Cookies, Honey Granola Clusters, and Mixed Nuts with Dried Cranberries.

"Porridge" Sensory Table filled with quick oats, mixing spoons, measuring cups & spoons.
Puppet Theatre . . . Goldilocks character finger puppets, copies of Goldilocks & the Three Bears, Goldilocks & the Three Hares, and Goldilocks Has Chicken Pox.

Birthday Cookies - Papa Bear, Mama Bear, Baby Bear, Goldilocks, and the Bears' House.

A chocolate coverered birthday boy!

Looks like a great party! You could always become a party planner if you wanted to make extra money.
