Hibernating Geese?

"Will, geese!" Quinn excitedly shouted as we drove by the lake.
"Yes, you are right. I see the geese."
"Mama geese? Papa geese?" Quinn asked.
"Yes, mama geese and papa geese."
"Baby geese?" he inquired further.
"No, Quinn. Just mama and papa geese. Remember I told you baby geese only come in the spring?"
"Oh. Baby geese sleeping?"
"Yes, the baby geese are sleeping for the winter. They will come in the spring," Will turns to me in the front seat, "Mom? Do baby geese sleep in the winter and come out in the spring?"
"No, baby geese do not hiberbnate like bears. Baby geese are born in the spring." I reply.
"Oh. Quinn, baby geese are born in the spring."
