Are We Having Fun Yet?

While driving by the construction of a new shopping center Will said, "Mommy, wouldn't that be fun to watch them work?"

"I know that you and Quinn would really like to watch the big trucks. I think there is a good spot for watching just down the road."

"Oh, okay! But first we need to go home to get our tools, so we can help them work."

"I think it is probably safer to let them work, and you can supervise."

At lunchtime, all of the big trucks gathered together. While the workers ate their lunches, a fuel truck arrived to re-fuel the trucks.



A few days later we headed to The Magic House for more fun. Although the boys throughly enjoyed themselves inside, they were just as happy watching the construction of the new addition. In the front yard the backhoe loader was busy digging in preparation for new pipes while around back the bulldozer cleared the way for a new parking lot and filled dump trucks with excess dirt. Will thought the highlight was seeing the bulldozer drag the trash dumpster across the parking lot.
