Rob's "Helpers"

The concrete work continues next door. Thanks to the rain it has been slow. Every afternoon Will and Quinn await Rob's arrival, so they can rush to their spots on the lawn to watch.
On Monday Will slipped on his frog boots, grabbed his shovel, and said, "I need to help Rob work. We need to break up all the dirt, so we can put down the rock." Not so sure that Rob needed a 3 year-old assisting, I offered a Will a spot in our yard to dig.
Will was content working in our yard for only so long. Today he asked Rob if he and Quinn could scoop up the remaining gravel off the driveway and put into their wheelbarrow. Rob suggested they dump it on the back patio.
More gravel is set to arrive tomorrow, and the cement mixer is scheduled for Saturday. We just may have to miss that last t-ball game!
