Guarding the Nest

I got a quick glimpse of the baby robins, and Mama Robin is VERY protective. She swooped down on me three times this afternoon while I was scooping dog poop in the general vicinity of her nest. Two times I just felt a gentle breeze as she flew by me, but the last time I am pretty sure it was feathers that brushed my neck. I think we will stay clear of the sweetgum tree for awhile. I don't need her to dive bomb the boys!
