Child Labor

Will has taken it upon himself to remove the old landscape rocks from the yard next door. The homeowners are very grateful, as it makes their workload a little lighter.

We have spent much of the last two days raking the rocks into piles, scooping the rocks into cups, loading the rocks into the dumptruck, dumping the rocks into the wheelbarrow, and transporting the rocks to our backyard. Yes, it would be easier and quicker if we just loaded the wheelbarrow; but it would be much less entertaining for the boys. Next to unearthing spiders, ants, and roly-poly bugs, filling and dumping is the best part!
