Stumped

Yesterday a tree service from Minnesota was in our neighborhood.  Apparently the snow up north sends them south in the Spring in search of work.  The crew was cutting down some neighbors' trees, so I asked them to give me a quote on removing our dead dogwood.  While the man was in our backyard, he asked if we wanted the large honey locust stump removed as well.  The stump was left behind a few years ago when Ameren removed the entire tree because it was too close to the power lines.  We had considered removing the stump a few times, but Will always insisted his perch stay.  Yesterday was different, and after much thought Will said it was time to cut it down.  But as soon as the man began to cut it with the chainsaw, the tears welled up in Will's eyes.  Seeing Will's reaction, the man asked if we would like to keep the stump.  He then offered to move it to a backyard location of Will's choosing.  He choose a spot under the oak tree near the patio, and it is perfect!
