I should have known that when I asked Will to carry the newly acquired tomato and pepper plants (thanks, Gnome Knits!) back to the garden he would not be able to keep his hands out of the dirt (or "soy-la" as he calls it).
He immediately began putting each pot in what he determined to be its appropriate place. Once each pot was placed, he got right to work digging right in with his hands.
He quickly enlisted Quinn's help with spreading the dirt around the plants.
He is so proud of his garden! The plants are not exactly in rows (something that causes me to twitch a little), but he did group like plants together. Before heading in to scrub his hands, he sat by the edge of the garden just beaming.

Ooh It's good to see them in a home. I still need to get mine in the ground. Darn rain!
