Where the Snow Meets the Sand

We took of advantage of the beautiful weather this afternoon. After checking out a tall stack of library books, the boys and I headed to Castlewood.

The boys requested to head down to the river.

Once we found some dry sand, the boys kicked off their gloves and boots.

Will dug with his hands,

while Quinn relied on a stick to do the digging.

Once the boys had their fill of sand, we found a sunny picnic table near the creek. We spent the remainder of the afternoon reading.
