Go Cards!

We took Quinn to his first Cardinals game. At first, he sat quietly taking it all in and appeared to be pretty overwhelmed by the whole experience.

About the 4th inning, Quinn began to ask about Fredbird . . . "Where is Fredbird? When is Fredbird coming out? Which door is Fredbird going to come out? What is Fredbird doing?" This incessant questioning contniued for the remainder of the game. Of course when we actually saw Fredbird up close, Quinn wanted nothing to do with him. Will gave Fredbird a high five, but Quinn grabbed daddy and looked the other way. Later he declared, "I going to give Fredbird a high five when I get bigger!"

That's a winner!

After the game, Cousin Tony took us down to the field and into the dugout. The boys were in awe (and so was I)!

Will watches as they prepare the field for possible rain overnight.
