Two Wheeler

About two weeks ago, Will asked to take the training wheels off his bike. Following his lead, I obliged. Although he still was in need of much practice, I was shocked at how quickly he was learning to balance his bike while pedaling. I held the back of his seat to get him started, but once he started pedaling he was on his own. While his cousin was in town, he asked to put the training wheels back on his bike, as he had not yet perfected riding on just two wheels. It was too hard to "race" while also focusing on keeping balanced. Just yesterday he asked again to remove the two extra wheels, and he really amazes me. Now he can get himself started and make a loop around the driveway before falling to the cement. Thankfully he falls gracefully!
