Third Time is a Peach

We headed back to Wind Ridge Farm once more. This time for peach picking! I stressed the delicacy of peaches to the boys, and they carefully placed each fruit gently in the box.

Of course between picking, some sampling was happening too! As juice dripped down his arm Will said, "This peach is just too good. So juicy!"

After picking just under 25 pounds of peaches, we headed to the blackberry bushes. It was late in the morning, so the thornless blackberries were few and far between. We ended up with about two pounds. It would have been more had the boys put the berries in the tray rather than their mouths. "Mom, these taste just like candy!"

At Quinn's request, we ended our morning with a short tractor ride through the orchard.

I am thinking these will be perfect baked together in a cobbler or crisp.
