Every morning Grandma eagerly awaits the arrival of her newspaper. She loves doing the crossword puzzle. Recently Will has also taken an interest in the crossword puzzle. While Grandma solves the clues, he stands near her chair repeatedly asking, "Grandma, can I please work on your crossword puzzle?" or "Are you done yet?" Once she has filled in all of the answers she can, she passes the paper on to Will. He quickly gets to work filling in the empty boxes with Os, Ws, Is, and Ls all the while commenting, "This is hard work." Many times he will return the paper to Grandma saying, "Hey, Grandma, can you keep this crossword puzzle? I need to work on it another day because it is such hard work. I need to take a break."
