Recipe Rampage - Bubbles

We attended Parents As Teachers' "Recipe Rampage" last week, and we came home with a booklet full of recipes for sensory play. With winter weather moving in and more time spent indoors, I thought I would share the recipes a few at a time over the next several days.

Bubble Solution
1 gallon cool water
1/2 cup liquid Joy
1/4 cup glycerine
Add Joy and glycerine to water. Do not stir or shake. Let sit for 24 hours.

Sweet Bubble Solution
Mix 1/4 cup sugar with 2 quarts warm water.
Stir until sugar is dissolved.
Add 3/4 cup liquid Joy.
Be careful not to whip up small bubbles while mixing.

Handy Bubble Blowers . . .
plastic six pack rings, circle of yarn, bent clothes hanger, fly swatters, strawberry baskets, bent pipe cleaners

This looks like fun! Am I crazy to think this would be messy wherever they popped?
