Shout it from the Rooftops!

Because I answer the same questions on a daily basis sometimes multiple times (3x today), I was thinking I could print business cards with my responses. I could pass them out to all of the inquisitive strangers and save myself some time and energy. Yet, in an effort to be green and avoid any printing costs I decided I could just post my answers here instead.

No, he is 3.
No, really he turned 3 in March.
Yes, he is very tall.
No, Quinn is 2.

No, actually it is not unfortunate. I enjoy my children, and I am looking forward to our fall activities together.

Starting in September, Mondays will find us at the Parkway Early Childhood Center for Sibling Fun, a class offered trough the Parent-Child Interaction Program. The boys and I will spend our Tuesday mornings in the Parent-Toddler Program at Shining Rivers, and we will attend Music Together on Wednesday mornings. This leaves Thursday for our weekly trip to Dierbergs, and I am reserving Fridays for playgroup, lounging around the house, and a bit of spontaneity.

No, I do not know if and when they will go to preschool.
No, we have not made any definite schooling decisions.
No, I no longer have faith in the public school system.
Yes, I taught in public schools for 5 years.
No, I do not believe public schools are a good fit for Will and Quinn.
Yes, we are looking into private and parochial schools.
No, I have not found the perfect school.
Yes, I have very high expectations.
Yes, homeschooling is also an option.
No, I am not concerned about socialization. It is not absent from homeschooling.
Yes, I am more concerned about the "socialization" that occurs within schools.
Yes, St. Louis has an incredible homeschooling community.

More power to you for doing what you think is best for your children. Mom's know what is best for their own children. What others think doesn't matter.
