1.5 Miles!!!

We took advantage of the incredible weather this morning and hiked The Trail Among the Trees at Rockwoods Reservation. Much to my amazement Quinn lasted about half of the hike before climbing in the sling, and Will hiked the entire 1.5 mile trail.


Quinn spent much of the hike pointing and laughing, "Uh-oh! Broken tree! Uh-oh!"


Everytime we came upon a patch of Missouri Black-eyed Susans (Rudbeckia missouriensis) Will said, "I wish I could have one flower to take home with me."

I suggested we take pictures of the flowers for now, and perhaps we could plant some in our yard for next summer.


Looking a bit tired, but still smiling near the end of the hike!
