We awoke this morning to find that the robins' nest had fallen to the ground. It appears that a storm came through overnight, as there are a number of broken tree branches scattered throughout the yard. The wind must have hit the nest just right. Sadly it is empty. Will is concerned about the babies, yet he confidently says, "The bunny is going to build a new nest for the robins. When he is all done building the nest he will get a big, big ladder. He will climb up the ladder and put it in the tree for the robins."
Build, Bunny, Build!

Man, the same thing happened here Thurs night. Friday morning we went out to play and a robin started attacking the dog....turns out the nest has fallen and both babies were dead :( Lilah kept talking about the broken babies and sad mama bird...and that daddy bird could fix it.
