We headed back to the creek this afternoon to collect tadpoles. We were better prepared this time, as we brought a bucket and wore boots.
Anxious to fill the bucket with babies!
Mommy's Biggest Catch of the Day - a Bullfrog Tadpole!
After touching and observing the bullfrog tadpole, we returned him to the water.
Wading through the creek just moments before falling into the water.
Heading home satisfied with eight tadpoles and a few rocks.
Since the tadpoles' arrival at our home, Will has been overheard saying:
"Oh my goodness! One tadpole just swimmed up to the top!"
"Two already have their back legs, but the others not got them yet."
"That tadpole just bumped his nose."
"How 'bout me just watch the tadpoles?"
"Our water has chlorine. Tadpoles not can have chlorine. They will die."
"That tadpole just lay down on that rock. He is resting."
"It is okay, baby. I just feed you fish food. Why eat fish food?"
"Goodnight, tadpoles. I just say goodnight to the tadpoles."
"That tadpole just begging for food."
