Forsythia Forest

Inspired by The Sunflower House, a great amount of my time the last week has been devoted to creating a "living playhouse" of our own. After countless hours and 20+ bags of yard waste, a pathway has finally been cleared through the middle of the forsythia and along the fence. Although it is still a work in progress, the boys have already spent much time there. They have discovered a great tree for climbing.



They have also been quite busy "building roads."



Will has talked about setting up a tent in the forest, and I have my eye on some very colorful adirondack chairs that would be a perfect addition!
