At the Plate

Saturday was cold and a bit rainy, but Will jumped right into the second t-ball practice. No dazed look during warm-up exercises. Will was quick to participate in the stretching.

Reaching for the sky.

Practicing an "Alligator Chomp" to catch a grounder.

In addition to practicing catching and throwing, the players also had a chance to hit the ball off the tee. Will was very excited about hitting, and he raced to take his turn.

Coach advised, "Hold the bat like peanut butter and jelly."

Nice swing!

Again the practice ended with running the bases. At one point Will was leading the "pack." With his teammates following his lead, he skipped over first base and headed straight for second base - OOPS! Coach Mike quickly got the players back on track.

The mass chaos!

He is so cute. We did tball when Olivia was 3.5, she hated it. She preferred playing in the dirt to actually doing anything.
