This book is a favorite around our house, so I knew the boys would LOVE this new park. The visit brought me back to my childhood. During daycamp, we walked to this park. Our counselors told stories of The Jesse James Gang hiding out in the very same cave we were sitting. As a child, I was more than impressed!
Quinn walked around the park with his hand covering his mouth as if he was saying, "OH NO! A BEAR!"
Will was relieved to find there really was no bear in the cave and declared it safe to explore every muddy nook and cranny.
